Stanford Night Fireworks - Sketch in Progress Fall 2014

 

This fall my son, Chris and my grandson Michael Rex (age 2) and I, went to a Stanford College football game. The night air was a little cool and we had great seats. To celebrate, Stanford provided a wonderful fireworks display at the end of the game and Michael enjoyed it soooo much. The stadium lights were all turned off and while still in our comfortable seats, the display was captivating.  I was inspired to capture the memory. This sketch is just with my regular pencil.  I will be working on it until both are rendered further. Just for fun, here is the first stage.
